Parked.com = PR penalty from Google. What else can I expect?

I opened an account at parked.com around the 20th of October 08, just to compare the difference from the paid parking I have with Godaddy and free parking you get with parked.com.

Added some of my domains, there was one PR-4, some PR-3's, PR-2's, PR-1's and a bunch of PR-0's.

Have just noticed that nearly all domains that once had PR, now have PR N/A.

There are a couple of domains left that have just the white bar (PR-0) and there is also 1 domain that still has PR-1 (not sure how long for). The rest are all just gray bars.

Just googled one of the domains that has had its PR stripped, and it was not in the first 3 or 4 pages  I searched another one and it was at the top where it should be. (wonder how long for?)

I am a bit bummed out about the one that has disappeared from the SERPs because I have been gathering content for it, and was not to far away from putting a site up.
But if it has been banned, I guess there is no point now.

Anybody else had this happen to them?

    Cheers
    James

if content gets drastically changed for a domain google thinks that the ownership of the domain has changed & it would be used for new purpose. so they drop all the rankings for the domains & start all over again.
if u buy some blog domains or forum domains u should continue with the same type of content.
if u loose content u loose all.
thats may be the case with u.

I had a similar problem few months ago. My PR4 domain dropped to PR N/A after I switched to sedo parking from godaddy parking.
But it was reverted back to PR4 after 3 or 4 days.

Parking is definitely a no no if you have a site with PR.

Why would you care about pagerank for parked domains?

Cheers, Hope the same happens to mine

Because they won't always be parked! and its not so much the PR, but the unknown depth of the penalties (if any). and what happens next.. Will it be harder to get domains ranked after this?
These unknowns are why I asked if anyone else had experienced this.

    Cheers
