Alot of directories or forums might have alot of pages indexed, but alot of the pages do not have a page rank. I guess as long as it's indexed then that's all that matters. Who has the most pages indexed in coop? I know someone who is selling a directory with about 194,000 pages indexed in google. The homepage is pr 4, a few pages pr w, but the rest are pr 0. I wonder if this is a good investment to put the coop on. Dont want to buy it unless it's worth it.
Right now a lot of sites have hardly any pages indexed in Google. Some people have a lot of pages indexed but not very much weight. As a lot of other threads show, Google is on crack. Maybe ask the dude to place the co-op on the site and see how much weight the site generates...then have him give you the co-op account if you buy the site.
Nintendo, you're right about having him place the code on his site to see what it'll be worth. How would you place a $ amount on a site with weight? What kind of weight is worth $20,000 or even $30,000?
Can you confirm this with a couple of your own sites which are properly indexed and giving good weight?
Not really, I had a site that gave good weight and then went supplemental. This made its weight drop loads. If you look in the coop forums its a standard thing - if your sites are supplemental you get less weight.
I'm aware of this.. was just trying to see the other side of it i.e. a site "properly" indexed and giving good weight, do sites like this even exist in the co-op presently?
I think spdude is making a good point. If all the sites in the coop network merely have supplemental pages indexed it won't go very far in providing you with quality backlinks, at least for Google. Not sure if this is correct but can someone comment on this.
Where do you find such people who are selling/renting google indexed sites ? I dont see any live threads in the buy sell section.
Of course. The supplement pages mean nothing to the coop. But yes, it does have 194,000 pages indexed in google, but most of the PR is at 0. So, how valuable is something like this? Will you get a weight of 1 per indexed page?
I have recently recovered all of my weight, after falling from 50,000 to 0. This site has never had supplemental pages. But I don't see changes in ad impressions.
