Site is No 1 in Google.com but not in top 30 in Google.co.in

one of my site is on No 1 in Google.com but not in top 30 in Google.co.in...

what is the problem......

niche is education in india

 

it is common for all but you want to need link from indian website like indian directory, indian social bookmarking website. this will help to you. and also find the competitor in google.com and google.co.in which is same and then see them so you can understand properly.

 

this is a pretty good question.. actually this things really happen.. I mean even if you rank high in google.com, you rank low in regional google search.. I don't know the answer, but certainly, i'll wait for anyone to respond..

1) it probably has more link from, let's say USA for example (directories,forums etc.) than it has from India
2) your host is in USA

 

if you want rank high in regional google search, you should get backlinks from these regional sites. i think.

Get quality links from .in domains and also get link back from inidan sites. so u can get more benefit also get submission in indian social sites.

try some off page activities for co.in domain....

 

you can try building link like social bookmarking, blogwalking, yahoo answer

 

maybe the datacenters arent updated properly . one of them has asked you to submit the blog to indian directories but iam not sure if it will help . if you need an indian directory you may go here :

you need to get back links from indian sites so you might be the higher.

 

Post your site link in India's Free Classifieds Ads sites.
Do you know India has more than 50 Classified Ads sites

It will improve the rank alot..

Guys, you need to learn how google works. Backlinks is not the answer to every seo question.

i already told that i have plenty of back links from Indian websites....

I told you, host your site in India.

 

Google Webmaster Tools / Tools / Set geographic target / "Associate a geographic location with this site"

Did that and within 2 days I stopped ranking #4 on Google.de for the term "auto" lol
