They would count as separate words. The search engines are not smart enough to group together alternate spellings or synonyms. It is just like how they treat singular and plural words separately.
depends on how sophisticated a search engine is. For Yahoo both are same. For google, it means geolocation cue.
i think search engine take they both as same meaning , so search engine take them in equaly, if u install one of program or software it gives u option , which language wil u prefer , us, uk, arabian etc. then it wil be confirmed that this language wil be used in further ur all work in so and so software color -used in usa colour - used in uk
