Man, this really sucks. I was stoked to see my site doing well in the Google SERPS, until I logged off my Google account. I went from 1 to 14 like snap (click). Does Google give preference when you're logged in?
Of course not! Logging in is not a factor in achieving high search engine position There could be other reason behind those changes.
logged into google never help you in achieve high ranking position. if you have see this type of stuff then check properly so you get answer yourself.
It will give only 1 or 2 ranking difference with logging and without logging. I am not sure but it might be due to local and remote data center or other stuff. can't say exactly but you will not find more difference in ranking with and without logging.
I have tried checking my keyword rankings when I logged in my google account but I haven't seen any difference.
I've checked it right now. The site what was 1st for a keyword dropped back to 7th place immediately as I logged out from my Google account. I logged in again and the site jumped back to 1st place. It all depends on your logged-in searching and clicking activity. Google DOES save those records and learning you.
of course it does depend, google serves you (you menaning you being logged in) the results that he thinks you would like to see, so you see your sites higher, because you have seen them before, you clicked on them... You should use some software/scripts or be very carefoul, when you check the rankings, to see what everyone else sees... @pkdas, it does not matter, if Im #1 or #2 right now, it is true, other people probably see it different, but if I san show to a client, that the keyword moved 10 places up, and then 15 each month, then I can see that something good was done
Absolutely correct the more frequently you use the same search term and stop "scanning" the results when you found "your" page, the higher it will rank when you are logged in.
