Hey all, I have a question regarding AdSense... When I create my website and use AdSense, will AdSense automatically create ads based on various keywords in my webpages, or can I choose them?
both 1. Google choses keywords-ads = relevant ads for each page 2. BUT YOU create each page, thus you decide what keywords / what ads on pages directly as long as you CREATE your content yourself! to be really successful 3. you NEVER should create pages for particular keywords but for customer satisfaction, to meet a persons real life NEEDS - then you get generic traffic and thus also adsense $!
OK, that's what I figured. But I was wondering how it chooses keywords? I mean, lets say I have 2 good keywords in the article (a few times) - will it choose 1, or both? Or does it depend how many adsense rectangles/squares I have per page? thanks very much
adsense will auto serve ads based on what keywords found on your page..set your keywords related to your page or site topic, this is called niche.
That's the beauty of Adsense, dude. You don't have to do anything. Just place the javascript code and voila. Google will do the rest and display relevant ads.

The bots will pick out the keywords on your page, understands and interpret what it is about and serve relevant ads. You can't choose which ads you want to appear but you can filter out those that you don't want.
It should show relevant ads for your page. However very occasionally you dont get relevant ads and there are a couple of tricks you can do to help Google choose the right ads.
