Dynamically generated pages or static html pages?

I have an online coupon site.

I want to create 500 wed pages. One for each coupon we offer (which are all my long tail keywords)

My coder is giving me two options.

1.) Manually create each page in html
2.) Create a singe index page and have it render each page at it is called. He tells me that it will render the final page in .html (not .PHP), also our site map will have links to all 500 pages.

Will the rendered pages work for SEO purpose or do I need to have them created manually?

    Thank you.

if you create the pages with .php.it will work for seo.
but mostly for seo purpose search engines always likes static html pages than dynamica pages.
my suggestion is to better go through static one.
if you are more concentrating on seo for that pages.

i suggest not use html page because when you have to some changes in website and that changes related in all 500 pages then it is take more time to change in html. but second way you think is good. and use url as .html so you don't create problem in website optimization. and now day google crawl dynamic page with some limitation.

This will depends on how u make the dynamic pages. almost big portal and CMS are dynamic site. Why don't you use database to do it and some template to display all
