Wow... I take back the benefit of the doubt.... The whole idea of my post is to explain to you that sure, though you're "part of" we the people, WE the people does not revolve around you. WE the people means WE decide. Not just you and your kook friends. That's the beauty of it. Before you can stand up and use OUR voice as WE the people you have to convince US to go along with you first. And on that point my friend you FAIL.

The Obama supporters have doubts about Obama's citizenship and that's why they stay in this thread to argue that Obama should not have to show his oiginal birth certificate. There are now lawsuits in eleven states.
OK then. I'll take it back Here's where the argument goes astray. You seem to be under the impression that you have the right to request a copy of his birth certificate. I merely stated that that is simply not the case and explained why. Point being that WE the people is comprised of the majority, not the minority. You most certainly have the freedom to desire it. But quite obviously, given the present situation, it should be clear to you that you have no legal basis to demand it. You are not we the people. You are only "part of" it as am I. As you yourself have stated. I gave you a simple answer but left it up to you to interpret it. So for that I apologize I guess. You could not refute my answer so you then went after me and my own sensibilities. I explained to you why I am glad it takes a majority to qualify as WE the people. You could not refute that either. Bogart and Simplyg123 - If this issues is so important to you, why haven't you filed a lawsuit against Obama asking to prove his citizenship; found a lawyer that would do so on your behalf? Wouldn't that be more likely to get the results you want quicker than arguing the same points ad nauseum on some internet forum?
I realize we don't have a right to request, I even stated it on the previous page, you quoted me saying it on this page, my point is that we should have this right, just as they have the right to request ours for employment, we should have the right to request his for his employment. I realize i am not directly Obamas employer. However "We" the people are, and "We" should have the right to feel confident our president is what he says he is. Loan me the dough and ill meet you at the courthouse. The only thing i want is for Obama to show his BC, i dont care if he is from Hawaii or Mars, but he should still be forced to show his BC, and not through his buddies website, but through experts that know what there looking at.

Ever heard of innocent until proven guilty? You want to force him or anyone to prove their citizenship based on what proof of your own?
You don't have to doubt his citizenship to see at as a reasonable request to provide a BC. It is after all a qualification for the presidency to be a NBC. Which is also basis for him to provide it

I told you what the reasonable request was, he's being hired, and should prove his citizenship, just like every other American. the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1990 requires employers to ask employees to present certain original documents to establish their identity and employment eligibility within 3 business days of the date their employment begins, and to verify on INS Form I-9 that they are eligible to be employed in the U.S. (If the person is being hired for 3 or fewer days this must be done immediately when starting work.)

Has anyone checked to see who the guy is who is creating this issue and who has filed the claim. Andy Martin, the person filing the suit, has been a bonafied nut case for decades according to this link from Wikipedia Read through the link above. This guy has been whacko for decades. For those who don't like Obama, find substative things. Wait for him to get in office. Argue policies. This claim is coming from a wierdo with a long history for being whacked out of his mind.
