Site gone from google

Hi all,

I have a site which is not indexed in google anymore..if I type my url nothing comes up. I'm in yahoo though. Just wondering, how can you determine why google banned the site? What can you do to get the domain back in google search engine. The odd thing about this is that the site has not been touched in week, no on/off seo.

Hi, the site was indexed the first week I created it (site was created on the first week of September). I usually check my site every 2-3 days in google to see where it ranks and today I noticed that it's gone.

 

Maybe google took your website to the dance floor, be patient and it will come back

 

Did the same thing to me
There i was all happy then I went all sad, but I am back now.
Think it happens to alot of sites. Maybe there's an explanation for it.

1st question: Have your website been indexed by google before?
2nd question: How long your site was indexed in google before it lost its index there?

If you are being banned in google... i dont think it will be easy for you to bring it back.

 

Can U please provide some more information about your site. I mean..

- regarding sitemap
- previously your site was indexed or not
- old domain or new domain
- etc..

 

it is normal for new sites.. Duplicate content can be one of the reasons why big G ban sites.

 

you have not mentioned the age of the site.
if your site is new means firstly google keeps your site in the sandbox.
then it will takes some time to index.
wait and see.
mean while you can do good on page for your site.

 

Yes I am agree with johnsunvalley you are continue off page and on page activities site will be come back..

 

Add in google webmaster tool and add sitemap on it. Then wait some weeks will be indexed

 

Get some links in social bookmarking websites like furl.net, SU and digg. Submit a sitemap to google websiters and change the bot cawling time to frequent. If this doesnot work then you should see yourself what mistake you might done?

 

suppose your website is new then it normal so don't worry about this it will come in google again. but if your website is not new, then change some in title, description, keywords and do some seo work like directory submission, social bookmarking and wait it will index again.

and after this all things your website not index again then ask this problem with experience which is face this type of problem they will give you proper solutions.

yes .. be patient as everyone has said. the same thing happened to 2 of my blogs but i kept on submitting them on social sites until one day they got indexed .

 

First Remove all the duplicate content and ad new unique content..

Add new content link to Stumble upon and digg and 2-3 other social bookmarking site..

Wait for a 10 days max.

if your new content page is index..ok

Otherwise

Just you google adwords and get around 100 paid traffic..You will be automatically indexed in google within a week after that..

Remember not to use google adwords with the same duplicate content.. It will not make any sense and your site will remain as it is.

 

Hey everyone,

To answer a few questions..

The domain is new and I created the site in september this year. The site was indexed on the second day and has been indexed since a couple days back.
I have the sitemap and seo tools built in so it submits and updates the sitemap to google every time theres a change in my wordpress blogs.
None of my content is duplicated, it's all original.
I did not do much off-site seo other than submitting a couple of links to 5-6 social bookmarks. I did this with another site as well which was not "banned"

Are you guys saying the site will come back in a week or so? I'm trying to understand why google is doing this and the process behind it..
