Windows users can now get their hands on a test version of Vista, Microsoft's new operating system. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/5059110.stm
Don't forget to get the key, and also don't install on your existing PC. Try backup then only install.
I will install on my non-existent PC, very well. My download is also non-existent though I do have the key.
I'm downloading it right now... and then I'm going to install it on a very crappy laptop (below minimum requirements) and see how well it does there.
Can you link to the download file? http://download.windowsvista.com/preview/beta2/en/x86/download.htm ^^ page has not worked yet for me
Try : http://dreamchaser.go4i.net/technology/the-windows-vista-beta-is-ready.html Should help you get through Cheers, Dreamchaser
I tried installing Vista on my laptop and it won't even install on anything less than 256mb of RAM (I have 224 left after shared video)
