I posted this in another thread but then felt bad for hi-jacking so i thought i'd put it up in a new one. I've had my site up for over a week (wwwyatt.com) and it will not show up in google search results even though I know by the statistics that it's been crawled numerous times and the sitemap even showed up. I'm only trying to get it to come up from the domain search "wwwyatt.com." A friend of mine put his site up around the same day as mine and his shows up, there are no other search results displayed for his but still it shows up, mine is nowhere on any of the pages. I'm thinking this may be something with googles spellchecker because it asks "did you mean www.att.com?." Has anyone ever ran into problems with the google spellchecker messing up results? Any help is appreciated.
type the following into google site:www.yatt.com If your URL shows up then you've been indexed. Edit: I actually just checked for you and its in there.
i just saw that your site's homepage has been indexed .so keep submitting your posts to social sites .
Using site:www.yatt.com, Google will not always display all the URL's it has indexed try doing the equivlent in yahoo. you will get more results
Make sure you keep up the link building & posting regular fresh content! If you stop, your site will soon become de-indexed!
I have the same issue : fmdiscussion.com I searched on google and no index, the site has been running for months now and we're not banned because I'm registered on googles web master tools and it says we're ok.
well i guess it finally went up. I'm number one for a search for my own domain name...lol and somewhere on page 6 for my own name sadly. Oh well that will change. Thanks for the suggestions and I'm pretty sure the spell-check feature had nothing to do with it, so that theory is now in the can.
well my page keeps alternating between number 5 on the 1st page and number one on the second page of results for my name, its getting really annoying cause the other sites are like facebook and junk like that. Anyone got any suggestions for link-building/etc to get it up to number one?
ah i didnt catch that, stupid plugin i had changed the title box to somewhere else, good eye, thanks for the help.
