Ok i know i only just started my forum and my page impressions etc are really low (like about 1000 per day), but during the first few days i got about 40c per day, and yet now over the last few days i have got zero.

My CTR is about 1.8% yet im still not getting anything these last few days

May be invalid clicks or the clicks are coming for same IP Address.

40 valid clicks with 1000 impressions is not generally found unless there are invalid clicks

I'd agree, repeat visitors = bad for adsense...

Does adsense only count one click IP? for example if one person clicks 3 ads does only first on count?

so what if they were legitimate clicks from the same IP. Like if that IP had multiple users, or they were actually interested in my ads?

    I have to disagree.
Its not uncommon to find forums with more than 4 percent ctr.

Thats what i would of thought.

I run a travel forum and most of the google ads are to do with things such as cheap flights or hotels etc, which would be of interest to my members.

all of a sudden my earnings for today and yesterday just went up to about normal.

Perhaps there was just a lag with Googles servers...

My tip is to build your Google PageRank and readership then sell text links through a text link broker. For a PR4 link you could get $10-20 US per month. If you go direct to advertiser you can possibly double that.

    Good luck from an Aussie.

Saler, i dont see why i should tell them not to click the ads. If i was going to do that i might as well just not put any up there.

Yesa i am working on increasing my traffic. Have submitted to countless directories and now its just a matter of waiting until they list my site i guess, which will take a while.

im also considering some offline advertising
