Can't deside Red or Black???

Hello, I recently bought the site www.RCcarsFun.com and I am trying to make some changes to the design. I change the banner and now I want to change the background but I can't decide between red and black. Which one do you prefer?

 

I'd go with the black.

 

The black makes the foreground stand out more, that would be my preference.

 

I'd go with the black but would get rid of that extra 20 pixels above the header image, or make the header image have rounded corners. one of the two.

Id go red! The red background looks really nice with the white text area and with the red themed buttons.

black is a solid color not to harsh on the eyes i voted black

 

I'd keep the black background, and remove top padding of the header image.

 

I'd go with the black background, it adds a colour-balance to the template.
