My company writes custom ebooks. I'm looking for an ebook compiler that requires unique password logins and allows HTML and iframes inside the book.
custom passwords - ebookgold.com of course it does. but that is too easy, so you would also select "LOCK To Computer" in the security preferences. AND if you think your customers are TOO smart, you get set up "Online Verification" required. Hope this helps.
Interesting, I guess the major advantage of going with a compiler would be to curb "sharing" or theft. But other then that is there any other benefits then to just converting to PDF ?
You can put html pages in the ebook. See http://justtraffic.blogspot.com/2006/06/using-ebooks-to-increase-sales-and.html
I test ebook products for my boss on my home computer. I can buy and download the ebookgold genererated ebook but get 404 error - page not found when try to open it. What am I doing wrong? I have also purchased books at work using boss's computer with the same result. EBookGold tech says it is a firewall or antivirus issue. Why would this be a problem? Would really like to chat with a person who uses eBookGold to find out out what my boss and I are doing wrong?
