I am looking to start up an affiliate program on my web hosting / dedicated servers. i am looking at paying 10% of each order to the affilate, the products cost range from $2.45 to $200+ Does this sound good to anyone, would many people be able to use this type, i was thinking of websites such as blogs, web master forums etc... that could use this.
I think all the more reason to have an affiliate program, the need to stand out from the huge choice out there.
Well if you allow warez, adult hosting etc, it would be important to offer plenty of banner ads etc not related or linking to those, for webmasters not wanting to be associated with those offers.
Hi Kill, Does the 10% also apply to all future subscription payments from a customer? If not, then the program is paying far too little.
Many hosting affiliate programs pay out much higher. I understand for a small business that may not be possible, however I do wonder how well an affiliate program may do. As an example I am an aff. with one hosting company that pays me $100 for every sale. If I have more than 10 sales a month $125.
well the percentage was just an example, it could range from 5 - 25% to be honest. You will get payed the % on every referred customers purchases
