It could happen that he also set up a NS at another IP but he's not using them anymore (even they may work), as, as I said, these were the NS he asked to use on the welcome email.

Anyone else still having trouble here? One of my domains/websites are up and and running normally on the new server, but the rest are still down, and that's the ones linked to ns1.secured-network.co.uk and ns2.

 

that's not the DNS he sent to his customers. They are different nameservers maybe that's why my friend's site works and some or his are/is not

 

Just found this thread today Just though Id straighten a few things out.

Both of you are... WRONG! I have my own servers, if any one of my clients checks the hostname, which on this server is Kupang.secured-network.co.uk - After a quick whois, you will find it is under my name, under the same registrar, and account if you can check as cdkhosting.co.uk.

So anyone saying Im a master reseller is talking absolute bullshit, any there is no proof anyways.

 

Yeah - sorry about that. I am not going to deny the downtime, or the loads. But, I ALWAYS kept my clients updated, emails were sent out about this.

It is a matter of opinion, but I think my support was great through this, I answered every single email I got during that time - Live support isn't usually up, because I haven't got a 24/7 or even a 6hrs day /5 days a week support team.

I actually think It was a DDOS, not 100% sure about what went wrong. Everything just crashed and burned over those few days.

I had APF Firewall installed on the server, and also a Cisco DDoS protection firewall on the whole network, so it could have been something else.

 

Its funny to look through this thread, it goes from Lag-Downtime-DNS - It's because I moved servers, onto an ovh/kimsufi server. I changed ns1/ns2.secured-network.co.uk over to the new server, which wasn't the best idea I admit, first. So people using those NS were pointing to an empty server. Then, a day later, I moved all the accounts over - Thats why people are only discussing this for a day, then there are no more posts. Because that was when I successfully transfered everything over.

A few MySQL issues, which I helped everyone individually with - But there all solved now, and the server is fully functional.

I think thats everything cleared up now, just trying to clear my name - Showing I haven't run off with anyones money. I only had to refund about 4 people, and the rest of my clients stuck with me through this, so thanks to them!

I sincerely have received no emails from you. Maybe they went straight to the SPAM box, I don't know.
BTW, I used a Gmail to signup, so I guess there is more people who did not received this data.

My sites are up... but the IP does no longer work as stated on this thread. I now have the new data (I just got it from your WHMCS).

Let me first thank you for this great action: you moved us from a VPS to an OVH Dedi, which is great considering OVH owns some of the most stable & fast servers I've ever experienced (maybe they make some special tweaking or something).

Great! Ive got a new website up: http://cdkhosting.info - Its just a wordpress blog, and I update it as regularily as I can. If ever there are any problems, just go on to there to check whats happening, rather than me sending out emails you might not get. Some people did get it, like sharmaine who mentioned the email in one of his/her posts.

If you go into your WHMCS, I think there is a 'Last 5 emails' Feature, check in there for full info on the server move.

Sorry about not getting back to you quick enough - I hope you do find the new server fast and reliable. 100% uptime so far, load averages are normally about 0.05 to 0.30 - Thats with the same amount of domains on the server as before.

That has been fixed. I didn't get the license I ordered in an email, so I fished through my archives, hoped this old outdated license, worked, and It just did! I will have to contact them about that though.
