OMG, thanks for the laugh, and all the "confirmation" as well lol

By the way, the Google Team still need to celebrate the Thanksgiving and having some turkeys.

So, the PR update won't be executed, at least for this Novemeber...

PageRank(PR) is one of many algorithms which google takes in to consideration while showing serps. High Page rank also means faster indexing of your site. Google updates it quarterly or sometimes even sooner.

edit. what error is this, i replied to other thread, how come this post came in this thread , any mod. merged that thread with this one??

I believe Google just updated the PR of everybody's websites. My new directory moved from having no PR to being a PR 0.

How do I get my sites to be a larger page rank?
Maybe a dumb question, but I am new to all of this and have two sites that are new and have no real recognition.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!!

I have a proxy site which was PR2 just yesterday and has been for ages. As far as i know there hasn't been no Google pr update.
Why has it gone from PR2 - 0?
    Is something wrong here.

Moving from a PR n/a to a PR of 0 is normal and happens all the time.. even if Google didn't export the PR to the toolbar yet !!!
