Unless a webmaster has only one site or blog, most of them use many different ones. I have sites with .com, .net, and .info. It is not always about the TLD as it is about how marketable the name is. Though I prefer.com, I have done as well or better with .net names. The poll is not very accurate unless you ask which one you prefer not what you own.
.com most of the time unless I really have to get the name then I go for .net (like if there's an ad page for the .com) and I wait for the .com to expire before taking that too.
I'm sure that most people will go with .com first if it available. All my sites are using .com, only 1 is .net.
All my sites are dot com and I think it is the natural choice of many and people would go for others only if the .com is not available.
Now i prefer only .com TLD for my all domains though i have few .info and 1 .org (registered 2-3 years back so keeping it) DON.
I prefer to use .com but I also have lots of sites with .info and .org TLD. No doubt .com domains are bit expensive then .info domains but they can get you good business.
My prediction 80% would be .com users Let me vote and check EDIT: Lol 100% .com users Kewl .com is rocking, may be in future .web will rock as they are coming soon and expected to have a great potential in them.
most people will go with .com first if it available. but if i cant get .com then i go for .co.uk but looking at the poll .com wins
