Hi, need some basic advise/guidance. I am the holder of www.kamera.no - a domain with some potential, camera is written with "k" in Norwegian. i think i am able to put together a fairly decent site. But then....?!? How to attract: 1) hits 2) advertisers Sorry for the simple question, guess there are hundreds of ways to proceed. But any inputs would be appreciated. Thanks! M
write some good stuff, new camera reviews, picture processing tips and tricks in photoshop kinda stuff.....these days people are more attracted towards dynamic content so few video tutorials, video reviews will make your day, and do optimize your site accordingly..... just my 4 cents
Do your SEO everyday, submit to book marking sites, participate on forums to get some hits to your site. If you want to get some advertiser then you have to wait until have at least 2000 visitors everyday.
Just write good content and good reviews. Make it so that your readers have something to come back for. You could also put some affiliate links on there with amazon selling cameras so you can make some money.
well you have to go and look at the norweigen market only really..... go and find link directorys.... craigslist too etc
You are absolutely right! There are hundreds of ways to successfully market your website. You will want to add your website to a host of different directories. You will want to use Social bookmarks. Try perhaps article marketing, writing articles that relate to your website, and submitting them to a host of article directories. Pay per click is a quick, profitable way to make money from direct, targeted sales, but there is a lot of things to consider before you embark on a PPC campaign. Good point Article marketing is an excellent way to get your website out there. I would suggest ezinearticles................it has great page rank
You could also do the advertising yourself. There are great affiliate programs out there for cameras, why not pick up on those?
