It is disappointing to see that just a few ad networks pay via Moneybookers. By the way, does anybody know an ad network paying via AlertPay ?

There are different types of online advertisement trying to grab our attention on the internet. While some prove to be effective, the others tend to annoy the visitors. Which form of advertisement should you follow to generate more traffic to your website or increase sells?

    1. Text Ads:

Text ads are advertisements displayed in a simple, text-based hyperlinks form.

    2. Banner Ads:

Banner Ads have been around for a long time.

    3. Pop-Up Ads:

This could be the most annoying and avoided form of online advertisement.

    4. Sidebar Ads:

Sidebar Ads are also known as skyscraper ad are similar to banner ads but are placed vertically than horizontally.

    5. Floating Ads:

Floating ads are ads that appear when you first go to a web page and they fly or float on the page for 5 to 30 seconds.

    6. Unicast Ads:

Unicast advertisements are well-liked and adopted a lot these days.

    7. Interstitial Ads:

Interstitial (which means "in between") advertisement is a page that is inserted in between the current and destination pages.

They are affiliate links, its more of a promotional/for-profit list then anything. Thats why some companies aren't included. I woulnd't say those are the *best* 10, but certainly some of them are good. Odd though that ones like adbrite, who has a referral program aren't listed. Thanks for the list anyway. :D
