After that he'd have had to pay taxes (40% Income Tax + 23.8% National Insurance Tax + accountant fees etc). I'd be surprised if he made half a million. Still great going though
This needs to be kept secret, but I had a crazy idea this week. It would be something like TheRichestInternaut.com, and people would bid to be the richest man on the web. It would start at $1. Some one would access my site, pay $1 and have his photo, description, web site link on my front page, and written in big letters "The Richest Man on The Web". Then some one would bid $2 and kick him to be the newest richest internaut, and so forth, raising one dollar at a time. So, imagine how much money you can make with a $10,000 bid? Even if the richest man changes each minute, there are 525,600 minutes in a year, so you earn half a million dollars, unlikely to happen. If everyday there is a new richest man, you only make $365, not worth the effort either And, as each bid is only $1, if you wanna make a million, you'll have to change the profile of the richest man...A million times! I like calande's thinking. However, having each person be the "richest" by bidding the same amount is kind of lame. If you did it for a year, ending on 365 dollars, and actually had people bid you would make much more, although I'm to lazy to pull out my calculator and actually add it up.
if the person changes each day, you make $66795 in a year and not $365. And thats not bad at all. And the highest bid is just $365 which is peanuts. Even a streetside link vendor can bid for it. Great idea..
Yes, I was mistaken on the 365-days It's not bidding the same amount, it's bidding always one dollar above the previous amount. Still, It's not like giving just one buck. It's a fair amount of money if you think about it. I don't think many people would pay...
Yes...that would be a good income. There are a lot of crazy people. Since I saw the Savetoby.com website I believe there are people for everything.

Problem with the idea, when you get above around $50ish I doubt ou will get repeat bidders, I cannot imagine someone bidding $55, loosing to somoeone who pays 56, and then bids 57 to get back to the top May cause problems if your hoping to make a fortune from the idea Also there may be an issue for people with the fact that there is only 1$ difference between each bid, so I doubt top space would last long, unless you manage to rech High bids, but once yuou get to the high bids old bidders wontl ikely bid again at that point.
the idea to post threads, as many as possible so that he can get the benefit of adsense from DP..... to become next $$$ by this require lots of time and patience..
that means more competition for the rest of us! I don't want to give up a portion of the 38 cents I've earned...
Calande, I think that idea has some merit. If thought through the idea may even work. You should not have said anything here though as no doubt if you do not do it yourself you will see it soon somewhere on the net. I think you should actually do it. It won't cost much and it might just work.
give this thread a boost and this thread will itself become the highest visitors / highest adsense payer... and then calande can start his own sucess story.... (may be few of us too)
