since my site has been listed on google, it has always been in the top 10 results for the keywords we target for. last night i did some mock searches with results that made me a very happy person. and now...... even when i search the URL, i get nothing! my site has officially disappeared. even form yahoo. is there something wrong with google? did I do something wrong? what do i do? what do i do? (in case you haven't picked up on it yet, im very frantic at the moment... someone calm me down please...)
taglehomes.awardspace.com target keywords that worked before: townhouses pamapanga (1st) tagle homes (1st) townhouses for sale pampanga (4th) houses for sale pampanga (9th) and some others... whats happening muxir...? have any idea?
There are some issues with Google lately and there are several threads on the forums dealing with the issues ... you may be effected by the issues as well.
Add some links to your website, you don't have them at all. (except from forums). P.S How much time you were on those positions?
Its certainly not indexed anymore. How old is the site? You don't seem to have many links. Also its not really professional to have your site on a free host without even paying the $5 it costs to buy a domain. Maybe google decided free domains at awardspace were not worthy of being in the index? Especially ones with only a few links.
muxir, i know, its so strange how my posts in forums rank higher than ads i've placed in philippine real estate websites. the site has been on google and on top for about 2 weeks now. the site itself is only a month old, its my baby... haha! um... im still working on it though, obviously... im just new to web design and development. mad4, do you really think its about the domain name? coz then i'd have to convince my dad to get one, and he wouldnt like the idea. he's a venturing techno-phobe. getting acquainted with the internet but doesnt like the idea of submitting ANY information required for online transactions. sayles, thanks, i'll try and read more of those posts when i get back on the net tomorrow. see what others are experiencing. maldives, as i've said, my dad doesnt like the idea of parting with money through the internet. and the backlinks i have, are where i can post free ads. the others i have found have fees. any idea how else or where else i can post real estate ads? forums where i would be allowed?
2 weeks old? I think you should move all your content to a real domain. Tell your old man that he has to do it otherwise he gets no visitors. Get links by submitting to free directories, writing and submitting articles to article directorys and exchanging links with related sites.
haha! i may just do that! i dont think $5 is much to pay for considering my whole future is riding on selling these townhouses he just doesnt like giving away that kind of information. but i'll pursuade him... either that, or i can kiss med school goodbye! i just searched .awardspace.com in google, a lot of sites show up.. oh wait, they only mention awardspace.com... not too many that include it in the URL...ok so where can i get this $5 domain name? $5 sounds kinda cheap... but its legit right? what are the additional fees? (my dad has said yes and is now asking how to pay as i type! )
it happened to me as well; at one time 58 pages of my blog were indexed and then one day it was totally removed; I had again submitted the url to Google and now about 9 pages are indexed
ravainz, do you know why? this cant be the sandbox, because the sandbox is when you ARE indexed but dont yet get ranked highly for your target keywords right? but what about when you are completely removed from their index? does that just mean i have to submit again??
Submitting to search engines has no effect. Search engines need to see links to your site otherwise they don't index it.
thanks mad4, hey um. i was wondering, why does a forum i asked help for in get ranked higher for the phrase "____________" than sites i have placed ads in? i mean, googlebot couldnt possibly reason out that this web development forum would give the searcher the information they were looking for could they? im confused...
The forum is trusted by google. Search next week and this forum will be top of the rankings for "townhouses for sale in city of san fernando pampanga". New domains take months to gain googles trust, thats the sandbox.
Yes, but the main part is trust. I can set up a new site thats the most relevant about townhouses in san fernando possible but unless its trusted then it won't rank.
