The Proxy Discussion Thread

So no one here is using AdBrite with their proxies? I used to be able to get it to work, but it seems as though they have new code for their ad blocks, and it breaks PHProxy. Anyone?

 

I haven't noticed any PR changes.

 

i shifted to adversal for a try adbrite sucks now
even their full page ad is killing the frames in proxified pages

And you don't find that the popunder ads drive away repeat users? I have adversal on two of my pages but I'm hesitant to roll it out on any of the other pages for fear that people who use the sites regularly will get annoyed and look for another popup-free site.

 

yeah but its some what ok because i show only in rotation fashion

 

personally i dont wont 2 many "repeat customers" eats my bandwidth. I want them to click a few ads andn use someone elses proxy

all my proxies show Public Service Ads by Google ..test another 30 other proxies..hmm the same?
anyone know why is that?

 

Are they new? Than it is because of that...
Otherwise.. there is an option that you're banned (but mostly they show NOTHING than..)

But sry I don't know as with me it shows normal ads

 

goldman: Might be your banned? might be they are very new proxy sites

 

Most probably there is lack of content on the site. Make some content, and wrap it with this code below to target the ads.

make use of the alternate ad url put some adbrite or media shakers ads in a url and use those urls instead of those puclis serve ads u will earn by these ads

 

Where is your proxy url?
Do you are new apply for adsense?
Try to put some content coz adsense does crawl the keyword to show related ads

If you see vtunnel, every time you click on the page or browsing form, a popunder shows.
How to do this?

i guess by changing the frequency with adversal or watever u use ! ..... keeping like 1 every 1 min ......... i geuss shud do the trick ..... but isnt that a traffic killer?

 

Yeah, but normally once a code being placed on the site, once people come a popunder will popups.
I wanted to make it only popups when there is an activity on the site. Maybe there is a code to wrap the ad code.
