yea, it's helped out a lot. Granted I only used wordtracker before, so it was definitely worth it. Considering the keywords found, verse competition and exact phrase counts, with a list of the searches I've never had any problems with it at all. In fact, on a money standpoint it has helped out my page views by about 15,000 a month.

The problem with all these tools including WT is that I have seen them giving way of the mark results for a very big range of words. So if you are not experienced, you can spend considerable time and effort on words which may not fetch you anything! That is why it is always good to check multiple keyword tools.

it will list the keywords but also what level of competition you can expect in different areas.
Very SEE and Social Marketing oriented.
also it has filters... for example, want keywords that have high traffic and low page count? set a filter.
The paid version has much more.. like article research.
