I've been stiffed by a new company that paid for one Ebook, ordered a second, then has left me high and dry for 10 days now. They are quickly ruining their reputation with a number of writers. This is totally unacceptable. After being told repeatedly on Monday that I would have payment Tuesday, I am not waiting anymore. I wrote a book about profiting from the Public Domain. It is 20 pages, completely unique, and has links at the end to some awesome resources for finding public domain materials (more than just Project Gutenberg). It really would be an excellent addition to an marketing pack for those dealing with the public domain. My original agreement was to sell it for $200.00; like I said- I've been stiffed. At this point, if she wants to pay for it, she can't have it. So, I have been toying with the idea of giving it away for a certain amount of people as a viral marketing book- or turning it into a private label rights e-book (which I had started a thread, but I can close it out if I change my mind) and I'm still thinking of just selling it to one buyer, who gets all rights. Of course, I could turn it into a series of articles, unique content and sell it as a package- or even turn it into a series of private label rights articles. So, here's the deal- is anyone interested in any of these options? If so, let me know. Thanks, Charisse
I won't be able to do anything for you at the moment. However, I think that you might get more responses if you check out the buy/sell/trade section. Announce that you are selling an eBook with all rights that has never been sold before, or something like that. I wish you the best of luck! Sorry to hear that you got ripped off like that.
Thanks for the response, Just so you know, that's where I had posted this thread. I received an infraction and they moved it here...I thought it was applicable for the Buy, Sell, Trade as well. I guess it's because I have the product but hadn't decided exactly how to sell it that they see it more as "chit chat" than a sale. Wow, that's really odd. That stinks that they gave you an infraction for it, I think anyone would have made that mistake. (It still seems to me like it would fit on the BST, but oh well) Anyway, best of luck to you!
