This is not a cookie problem or anything like that, check all the products you are promoting on firefox and see whether your affiliate links are showing. I just tried it and for some products it is not showing on the order page and for some products it is. To test - go to the cb market place - generate your affiliate for 3 products - try it on firefox to see whether your id shows on the order page
Erm why's this so urgent? I just checked all 5 sites of mine that use ClickBank affiliate links and their all a'ok.
There is a thread on the warrior forum about it here http://www.warriorforum.com/main-in...ffiliate-link-if-you-promoting-strip-fat.html I was just trying to alert people in case you were doing ppc and your clicks were not been tracked
Looks the same thing that I mentioned in the thread on this forum: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1104235 It appears it could be a firefox browser issue that is causing a tracking issue with CB... or it is something else that could only affect the first few pageviews for each IP...
I got a direct sale (i.e without an affiliate) today for my product today, which never happens, I might be a coincidence , or you might be on to something
Just checked some of my affiliate links both on Firebox and Google Chrome. Some are working and SOME ARE NOT! I wonder how many sales I have lost? Check you links and let clickbank support know if you find a problem with your links!
During the past 3 days I had over 10 sales without affiliate id, which is very strange since its the first time that I had so many!
Great to know that I have been giving my commission to the various publishers I am associated with and that my hard work is paying off for someone. Seriously, it appears that the affiliate id on the sales page is there sometimes and then is not. And it also appears that the problem is across many different products. I have tried IE, Firefox on Windows and Mac, Chrome and Safari on a Mac. All the products I tested on each browser had this intermittent problem This means to me that it is not one publisher trying to rip people off, or even a problem with one computer having malware on it, but a systemic problem that Clickbank is having. I have contacted Clickbank and suggest others do as well. But I imagine that they have become aware of the problem. Hopefully, this will be fixed ASAP!
Thanks man. having problems with payment from cb and affiliate link shows "none" have needed to check back tons of my products and so many are showing the same, no wonder my sales are down, I'm livid!
I have tested about 7 random sites from the marketplace that I have never visited before and the ones below showed the [affiliate = none]: http://YOURID.turbulence.hop.clickbank.net/ http://YOURID.freetattoo.hop.clickbank.net/ http://YOURID.x360fix.hop.clickbank.net/ http://YOURID.languages.hop.clickbank.net/ Tests done in Vista 64bit, all antivirus/spyware software shut down/closed/inactive. IE7: [affiliate = none] Chrome, Opera, FF: correct affiliate was shown. I did not removed my cookies and temp files because a potential buyer will not do this each time he visits a website.
Probably its some kind of update to ie7 that swipe out that cookie..... VALID PAYMENTS NOT GOING TROUGH, AFFILIATES SALES NOT BEING TRACKED....WHEN WILL ALL THIS CLICKBANK B.S. END????????????
Well, I've been mentioning affiliate sales tracking and commission for months now, talked about in quite a few threads - you can try contacting clickbank, but they will only tell you that your are not working hard enough on your marketing and that your hoplinks are working fine. that is it from them, well need a totally new replacement for hoplinks, it more than overdue!
I just tested several of the links for products I'm promoting - yep, affiliate=none. I'm using FF. I emailed the merchants and told them I have stopped promoting their products until the Clickbank tracking is fixed.
This is the first time I've been able to replicate the problem. I'm getting the same results for 3 out of 4 of these links in IE 7. http://YOURID.turbulence.hop.clickbank.net/ http://YOURID.x360fix.hop.clickbank.net/ http://YOURID.languages.hop.clickbank.net/
It's not like ClickBank can ignore this if people start making videos of these little experiments we're doing and start spreading them around. With prove of what's happening, it will be hard to ignore. I might finally have the motivation I need to figure out how to make a video tutorial.
Contact the merchants, too, and tell them you have stopped promoting their product until the tracking is fixed.
Check out the thread at WF once more: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-in...ffiliate-link-if-you-promoting-strip-fat.html A few people have tested out the links extensively and found that affiliate=none appears on the page. Furthermore, check out this video, of someone testing the links with IE7: http://www.instantproductlock.com/cb-problem/cb-problem.html Something is definitely wrong. Although some of the instances might be ruled out because of browser issues and spyware issues, not all could be ruled out, So I think there is a tracking problem
