I am looking for recommendations for email blast programs.
Specifically, to send out newletters to our current customer base (graphics are used within these emails - we have roughly 25k customers), prospect emails etc.

Something that is mid-tier but wont break the bank. Anyone have any recommendations?

    Thanks

I was thinking of doing a newsletter a few months ago and I was pretty set on using amailsender.com's Atomic Mail Sender.

You have to check with your ISP to make sure you can use port 25, I use ATT DSL and they block that port, which a lot of email programs use...

Good luck and let us know what you end up getting and how you like it.

    PERSONAL SMTP SERVER USAGE

Control outgoing mail by setting up your own SMTP server. Add privacy, speed and mail mgmt tools helpful to owner/operators of online products/services marketing promos, and sales.

SMTP = Simple Mail Transport Protocol

Works synergistically with two other protocols,
POP (Post Office Protocol) & IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol),
both designed to retrieve email from mail servers.

    Advantages:

Avoid server delays. You can send email regardless of your ISP's SMTP server status.

Speed. With your own SMTP server, as soon as you click Send your message is on its way to its' destination.

Privacy. Having your own SMTP server cuts out a major weak point in the communications link.

Control. Stay informed on each message sent. Logs let you track each message, whether successful and, or failed.

NO Relaying Denied message. Send messages from anywhere in the world and through any of your mail accounts.

Enable Mass Mailings Newsletters, or any mass mailing especially if your ISP frowns on bulk mail-outs of any type.

    @RogueDirectory - this is how you blast right from your computer and yer ISP won't be the slightest bit aware, since you're not impinging on any of their resources. Here's a link, and give either one of these two a try since they're free and they rock;

    Free SMTP Mass Mailer -

    Postcast Server -

    These'll definitely do the trick.......
