Starting affiliate from zero

Hello everyone!

I see, that it is still possible to make money through affiliate programs, so I'd like to start this business. But how hard is it? How much should i invest to start succesfully? P.S I don't have any web pages. So please help me to decide how should i start. Maby you know some cheap or free ebooks about starting from 0? If anyone could help please write here

There is definitely a lot of money making potential in affiliates still. Do you have experience with blogs? If you do not feel comfortable with creating a website then blogging is your best bet. I would steer away from the ebooks myself(unless they are 100%) free. Do a search on youtube for "Clickbank Tutorial" or something along those lines and they will show you the basics.

I have an affiliate program below in my sig that you may want to check out. It is fairly easy to sell and you could even do it without blogs or websites by "cold calling" local business looking for graphic design work. Any questions let me know!

 

could i know how much do you earn from the programs whitch is in your signature?
What blog should i use? blogger.com? maby wordpress.com? which one is better? and what is better, blog or website? is it effective to use something like joomla or other auto system for website?

 

I have used Blogger in the past with good results, have not used wordpress so can not comment on that. I am not an "expert" affiliate but rather I work for a graphic design company doing online promotion. For every sale we deliver $240 goes to the affiliate who helped with the sale. $10 goes to the affiliate website usually(Clickbank or Click2Sell, etc.) and the rest goes internally to pay our designers. I work based on a salary plus commission.

There is a lot of others here who should be able to answer any questions you have on the specifics of being an affiliate.

Before you start, I would strongly suggest reading forums like this one and reading blogs from affiliate marketing super-affiliates.

You can easily waste time and money in the early days if you are not careful.

you will need to start building content and get some sites ranking for free traffic and that will get you started from zero.

 

Don't buy e-books on how to start. You can find all the information for free, just spend some time, read a lot of affiliate marketing blogs and threads here, then start to experiment.

Create your own website - many affiliate programs give you free templates. Choose a product to promote, learn more aboout it and write reviews about it. Also compare it to other similar products and show your visitors that it's the best choise. Build backlinks, submit articles to article directories, use social bookmarking, post in related forums....and be patient, affiliate marketing takes time.

Don't expect quick money!

 

I see this sites all the time but i never figured out how they make money.. Like this site www.Just-Lyrics.com... Something like that seems like its not hard to do, but how do you make money of something like that?????

 

Once you get the traffic, the money will come.

 

So the first thing is... get more visitors!

 

1. Don't buy e-books - better go and buy some Tequila
2. Do a bit of research on "How To Use Clickbank", "How To Blog"
3. Concentrate on what your doing and don't throw it away .. if you will not earn money today - you will earn it back tomorrow

There are tons of posts in this forum (~ 5 years worth) that can tell you what you need to know. Most of the advice is still relevant today...

When you mean zero do you mean absolutely no money at all? I started AM around 5 months ago with very little money. About $60-$70 total, $10 for a domain and around $50 for a year of prepaid hosting.

I made a little money the first few months and just invested it back into promoting more offers. It might take a while if you have very little money but you can eventually make a good amount if you put in enough effort and time into it.

 

And are you earning a good money now?
