I have wordpress at my root domain and using permalinks structure like this
    domian . com/post-name/

    I have added phpBB at
    domain. com/forum/

Now when I try to open any url like domain .com/forum/sd it shows wordpress page.

I want to exclude that path from wordpress.

Try to install your forum at a subdomain (maybe a stupid idea, but sometimes it really helps)

If I add it on subdomain that it will be on different domain.

I did rock solid link building for that domain so if I add forum then I don't need to do anything
