When will google assesse for page rank again?

Anyone know if google posts when, how often they assess for page rank?
When is this next page rank assessment?

Nobody knows for sure but it is most likely going to be end of this month or December. Don't put too much weight into pagerank, it is not all that important.

 

The next one is December 25th 3:24pm EST. And if you don't get one, it means you were naughty.

 

We just figured page rank is a byproduct of how much traffic you get and how well optomized your website is for google.. We thought of it Kinda like a merit badge..LOL..

There's no relationship between PageRank and traffic. It's based on backlinks - the quantity and quality of them, and Google's idea that a backlink is a 'vote' from one site to another. It's part of the google algorithm to establish the relevance and importance of sites, but how big a part is a source of constant debate.

 

No one know when Google update it.

Last update was in this month, I have heard about it. But Nobody knows when it wiil be again.

On a serious note... WHEN WILL PEOPLE SEARCH BEFORE POSTING PAGERANK QUESTIONS!!! - I mean, HOW MANY pagerank threads do we need???

 

OR if you find a piece of coal in your email, then you know you'll have to wait til the next update.

 

I've heard they do a big update every year on February 29th, and then smaller updates at the beginning of some months, for example April 1st

 

no body knows which time is.

 

It doesn't follow any fixed pattern so can't really tell

PageRank is updated continuously, you just don't see it as Google only sends a snapshot to the toolbar every few months.

 

But isn't the toolbar stat [which maybe out of date according to you] the important thing for advertisers? Or is there another way to get the actual current read?
