I want to get some deep links pointing at some of my subpages ( which contain articles)

So I was thinking of taking the articles from the subpages and submitting them to high PR article directories (like GoArticles).

In the author bio, it would link back to the original article.

Is this OK to do ?

The viewer would be seeing the article twice, but... I do not really care about the viewer, and simply want the backlink.

I think you have the wrong mentality. Think about your users, not about getting links from sites like go articles. Does anyone read these article directories? Of course they don't!

Do you think Google doesn't realise "SEOs" are abusing these sites? Do you think they would highly credit a link from here? I doubt it.

Yes, people actually do read the article directories --- especially when the article gets ranked in the SERPS

I'm mainly concerned about the accuracy and quality of the article directories. Many of these so called articles are rushed and thrown together for the purpose of "creating links". As such, the directories themselves suffer. I wouldn't consider say ezinearticles a quality site.
