I want to create a site similar to this for gaming. Who can make a site very similar to this in style and design and how much will you charge me?

You want a site like gamespot?
This is going to cost you a lot if it is custom-made. I would guess around $2500.

 

I can do this for you but you looking at a high high price.. $1000 for this site.

 

to be honest a proper web design agency would ask for £10,000 if you wanted something similar to gamespot, purely because the website is huge! And you would need some thing a lot more secure than your normal website, then there's database's you wouldn't be able to run just normal MySQL, well you could but it would run very slowly after a while so something like oracle would have to be implemented.

 

I want a site that is designed like Gamespot. It doesn't need to have all the features but should look similar in design. It doesn't need all the backend functionality like Oracle instead of MySQL. Oracle is only implemented on their site because of super high traffic. If after the site is designed, I have that much traffic, I won't have a problem upgrading to Oracle DB.

as for cost, it depends on how many sections on your site you want, it's kinda heavy in the art-department, and has to be quality art.
or do you get that from game companies themselves?

I suppose this could be implemented using one of the many opensource CMSes out there, so it doesn't have to cost zillions.

Cost depends on how much custom work goes into completing the site, both in art and in php features.
Want flash? Most good flash designers are expensive.

So suppose you'd want 5 sections with 50% custom artwork, no flash, unlimited articles, and a CMS to edit it with..
I'd say about 500 to 1500 euros to be done by a semi-professional (who can't customize much about the CMS he/she choses), or 1200 - 2500 euro if you want it done by a pro.

My own CMS (currently at version 1.0.5), which i sell unmodified for considerably less, probably can't handle your layout requirements without modifications.
