I have been stiffed for the first time ever here on DP by a member who I paid for a service and who did not
    1. Start let alone complete the service paid for
    2. Give a refund of the fees involved despite numerous promises both in PM's and in an open thread

    What are my options here?

I have initiated a PayPal dispute and escalated it but I am well peed off that the member will not take responsibility for their actions and they are continuing to use the forum as if nothing has happened, even bragging about spending lots of money recently - no doubt my money.

So my question is, what can I do about it? I have given negative iTrader - is that the sum of it or are there other sanctions that can be applied to the member who stole my money?

Thats terrible to hear. What did you pay for. I think you should inform the admin.

@OP - You have to sort out your problem yourself with seller.

    DON.

You both need to check DP FAQ/Rules Properly.

    DON.

I don't think so. This is not an issue of two members 'not getting along with each other'. This is a case of someone getting scammed by someone else. This is an issue the mods need to look into.

Yes. I also think DP admin has to intervene and look at the facts of both the concerned parties.

And bring out in open...the member who has willingly committed a fraud.

It is in the interest of all other members of DP.

Hope to see the cheating member out in the open...soon

    Regards,

The moderators do not get involved in members' business. As it is, you do business here at your own risk.

Members can leave itrader, and post feedback in the threads in which they do business. Any problems should be taken up with the payment processor.

The moderators are here to manage and maintain the forums, not arbitrate disputes.
