ranking big, but no traffic

I am ranked no. 2, 5 and 6 for a overture quarter million search/month term. A very expensive market too. I have had only one unique from that term in the past two days since it has been ranked.

Do you guys see a lot of this stuff go on with msn? I know they are the least popular of the three, but damn, this is ridiculous.

MSN is unique. The traffic may be very close yet far away. There is traffic there however; you just need to learn exactly where it is. For example, MSN is very sensitive concerning (s) at the end of keywords: Online Boat Manual (little traffic) and Online Boat Manuals (huge traffic).

MSN is also sensitive concerning keyword placement. For example, Online Boat Manual (little traffic) and Boat Manual Online (huge traffic), Look where the competition is, they are there for a reason. It takes awhile to get the hang of MSN, but there is plenty of traffic there if you can find it. Good luck.

Google is equally popular in each age class.
This is not the case with MSN.

I get no love from MSN.

50% of my traffic from the big G
    25% from Yahoo
and less than 5% from MSN.

I have been ranked #1 on MSN for ages, and the darn traffic never seemed to pick up.

I find the same thing. Is this true for all SE's or just msn. I'm #2 for one term but if you switch the words round it drops to about #200.

    My stats are like:

    Google 92%
    Yahoo 3%
    MSN 3%
    other 2%

    In total though, search engines
only account for 8-9% of my visits...
