Hi. To get backlinks and more clicks,I've decided to join Digg. However,I have no knowledge about it. What should at first? How can I impress others and push my sites to the frontpage? I know usually the favourite sites of same people are on the frontpage.. I think popularity is important and how can I be popular there?
It's a struggle. First, you have to create something that a lot of people are going to find interesting. Another thing, is that you have to submit it at the right time or else it will get buried beneath hundreds of others. If you time it right yours can be seen at the peek "digging hours" by people looking at the latest submissions.
you need viral affect to get to the front page. the reason popular people are on the front page because they have ton of people as their "buddies" and they form some kind of an alliance. anytime someone submits a story page, all the people in the alliance digg that story and it goes to the front page before you know it. so what you do? start makine friends on Digg. more the better. once you have a nwtwork of people of your own, you digg each other's page. simple as that but time consuming. you need to have a good story page as well which is pretty much given
Well you need good content and it needs to be interesting to make it to the front page, a sales page won't get you anywhere on Digg.
Yeah I noticed that, it seemed more clearer around the election lol my problem is that as soon as I digg a page, it signs me out
