I'm about to start a myspace resource website, I'm a designer and not much of a coder, i want to know how can you actually make myspace layouts are generators used like this one http://www.pimpmyarea.com/profileeditorv2/index.php to design layouts and then embed the code on the website?

Also where can i get a the new layout generator like the one in the pimpmyarea so i can put it on my site?

I have already been on www.m2scripts.com but they don't seem to have this new profile editor.. I'm considering to buy the creativeaftermath.com script has anyone bought it? is it any good? any suggestions on what scripts can i use for my website?

plz any ideas and answers will help thanx

tbh, the Myspace thing has been done to death and the market is massively saturated, not to mention many Myspace resource site webmasters have found to their cost that Google Adsense takes copyright infringement seriously and bans their accounts.

Reason this is important to you is because if you go against my advice and open up a Myspace resource site anyway you will quickly find you need to get your hands on a lot of material in a short space of time and 100% guaranteed that when you buy the Graphics packs from other people, they will contain Copyrighted images which in turn will lead to a complaint to Google.

Btw, that Profile Editor is made as a separate stand alone app (at least it looks like one I bought a couple of years back) that you have to drop into your site. I'm not sure how useful it is to the end user since most want premade layouts anyway.

Thanx for the reply MXFOX some good advice there.... i know that the myspace thing is overdone but i have done some research and found out that there is quite an interest in premade myspace layouts...

a lot of websites who offer myspace layouts are junk and they don't have any quality materials + they are very complex and most user get lost. I work as a motion graphic designer on a tv station and I'm aware of the copyright stuff, if i make the site i will have 100% my own work and wont use stuff from other people..

I can make 20 designs a day that will be 560 layouts a month so in couple of months i will have a good library of layouts... my problem is that I'm not much of a coder and the generator i will use to help me design layouts cuz i dont know how to design them with ccs and php...

Just use one of the free layout coders on some of the existing myspace resource sites then. ;)

Just tell people to code their Myspace layouts themselves... I style mine... lol.

It's true that they have been done to death. Unless you have unique content then it's pointless IMO.

Hell, even I have a MSPRS and the only reason I have it is I got into the whole customizing thing on there years ago (think it was 2004) and I had a massive stash of really unique layouts coded, so made a website to give them out for free.

I could be a bit insulted about you saying that the Myspace layouts sites out there offer junk (with me owning one and all), but i'm not giong to be because it's true, a lot of them do.

20 designs a day...if you do that for a long period of time then I will honestly bow down in praise. 20 is a lot to keep up every day for a long time.
Although if it's only the design side of them then it wouldn't be as bad.

You might be better making a site offering graphics to use if you arn't a coder. It'd make it much easier on you.

ps you don't use php to code them :) it's just HTML and CSS (mainly CSS).

Yeah, CSS mostly although HTML is required at times too.

I'd recommend Topstyle Pro ($80) but if you just want to get going you can try out the free version Topstyle Lite.
