If I recall correctly, Didn't Walt Disney own the trademark to those? If indeed they did (and still do) then, reg fee at most. Careful of trademark issues. Cheers James
Tom and Jerry was registered by me because I have two cats called Tom and Jerry and I plan to put their stupid movies on. I also have a mouse, I named him Mickey. Because I learned him some tricks I will put movies of these tricks on his video website.
Unfortunately, air and water will soon be reged tm, and if you want to breath you will have to invest into googe air coupons. I understand Tom and Jerry are your cats but firms ike that are sensitive to their pets. Im not sure what the law about that is, only lawyer can answer you, but i woluld not play with those names.
Brilliant Domain name mate,if they are not suffering with trademark issue they can be goldmines really. at least 80% of kids ratio surf internet for POGO , cartoon network, Disney and other comic stuff. Ill suggest ya to get a Nice designed Website done related to Kids, Comic shows and other anime characters. Good Luck anyways.
if used with some other field tm probs wont arise..but this is bit similar i guess but i dont think even in this case TM owners will come after this sort of a video site on .tv extension unless the site gets very famous getting loads of traffic
Interesting. A quote from there site lol, Anyway, maybe a disclaimer like that is all that is needed for the tom and jerrry one! And if the mickey mouse one is the same.. then I would have to agree with Oranges.. Goldmines.. (especially mickeymouse.tv) Before developing them, you should look in to it, find out if you can get away with just a disclaimer. if so, then go for it, milk them for all their worth Cheers James
