Don't try to fight Paypal because many have and no one has really succeeded. I have been screwed by them, I KNOW how you feel. Just give GoogleCheckout some time and they will take over.

I know it's frustrating, but that's what I'm waiting for.

I had the same problem, although fortunately there was not too much in the way of funds, but I did have a couple of subscriptions being paid for by paypal and these got cancelled so I had to set up a new account etc.

They claimed there was fraudulent use on my account and it took a long time to clear, when you speak to someone on the phone they say they will pass on a message to their fraud department, but then this did not happen and it took me about 2-3 months to sort out.

    I was not very impressed!

Sorry mate, Im not one of those people who just stand there and wait for a problem to be resolved. I have to do something about it, and I believe there are people that are willing to take action on this as well. As long as we have a sturdy plan and plenty of back ups the plan of taking down paypal will succeed, no matter how long it takes me.

Yep, it's scary for sure. And to think I was basing 100% of my business around these corporate scammers.

First of all.. I'm sorry this happened to you. If you really have ALOT of money, you should get lawyer and not give up. As long as you can proof of your service to the people and any transaction history. I'm sorry to say but the people "supporting" you here cannot help you, you have to take action, get a lawyer and get your money back.

Yeah, don't use paypal. It is one of the worst for scamming. Egold was held in court for supposably scamming people, why hasn't paypal? They close accounts for no reason. Try alertpay, money bookers, liberty reserves, egold, or western union.

I have pretty much the same problem with Paypal. I am selling intangible goods in ebay as well, and I have been limited by Paypal for several times within a month already. The reason is that my account was found to be high risk or has unusual activity. I have even been terminated by them recently.

I can't leave Paypal, as they are the only payment processor in eBay. I can can choose to accept LR or other payment, I am willing to do so.

Very sorry to hear about your loss ,I know just too well how it feels.

It has happened to me too. i am a newbie freelancer hoping to scrap some extra cash and i got $160 from one guy for one month wage and forgot to turn a proxy off when logging in paypal and bam! .end of story . Period. I will never see those $160 again :(

I will be extremely happy if there was a good alternative to paypal which is as much widely used.

Wish you all the best in building a payment processor. :)

I'm totally surprised to hear that this has been happening. I've been using paypal for a couple of years but seems ok to me. Looks like I've gotta start sourcing for other payment options now. Sob..sob...

Sad to here about yet another Paypal horror story, glad to see you've got the enthuisiasm to fight back. As for using e-junkie, they still send payment via paypal and its still an intangible good. It wont give you any more protection to use them because you are still receiving "untraceable" funds into a paypal account.

It would be great if there is other payment processor that accepted by many people other than paypal.

Really looking forward to your success mate!

I'm glad someone is going to try and take down PayPal.
It will take some serious cash and business knowledge.

You might need to make something to take down eBay too.
With eBay still in the way, PayPal will never go down.

HOw much are you selling the tape for - sorry if i am asking i do feel for your siruation but one mans death is another mans bread they say here in holland no offense-

If you are not selling it consider giving it away and I will spread so far and wide across the net paypal will need the population of india as employees to stop me from spreading across the net- seriously send me a pm.

Btw long live moneygram and westernunion they never scammed me and paypal closed on account of mine then limited another still in negotion to remove restraints you can`t image how ridiculous the request for documents is, then I have another acccount but i never leave any money there only for the days the assignment is pending to avoid chargebacks and to be able to do refunds.
