quality sites dont usually use info domains. however, if you are talking baout PR, it doesn't matter which TLD you have as PR is based on backlinks as well as the PR of the sites linking back to you
links with different tlds and different IP is good for link building campaign for make it natural with Search Engines.
Typically people use .com because people put more trust in them but they can get equivalent pagerank as any other site. Also realize that PR doesn't mean everything, it is simply one VERY insignificant factor in creating a successful website.
