    mods here serve as volunteers. they do this on their own time.

    They are not paid but a few of them still are paid too much! ;) LOL

    Most forums do not pay mods but allow a few extra privileges as an added benefit.

    tough job, but i AGREE.

    i guess the guy that's laughing the most is the (absentee) owner. LOL

    so what is it - the ATTRACTION, i mean?

    power trip?
    volunteerism?
    mean parents?
    messy divorce?
    unfulfilled dreams for life and career?

    just my opinion - i think i'm still allowed that??

    like i said, TOUGH JOB to be sure, but as GEORGE COSTANZA once said... we're trying to live in a society here. LOL

    after SEVERAL YEARS as a respected member here (i lost my account in the database "failure?") i really had to get that off my chest.

    anyway, THANKS for the info/feedback.

    That is most suprising that they dont get a small retainer,i am a mod on a US forum which is much smaller than this one and i get payed every month by PayPal.
