Stumbling your own blog posts.

I know that stumbling your own site is essential for initially getting indexed etc.. but what about blog posts.
If you just promote a normal site you can bookmark a page every now and then whilst bookmarking other sites aswell.
but surely if you post every day on a blog, you can't stumble every new post under your name.
So what do you lot for your own blog., stumble once a week, fortnight, month etc..?

Let some of your readers stumble it for you, it will be more effective than doing it yourselves everyday.

I don't usually 'deep stumble' my posts. I'll use Digg for that.

Another good site is Reddit. And make it easy for your readers to digg, reddit, or otherwise bookmark you by adding the Addthis widget (http://www.addthis.com/) to your html so it appears after every post

stumbling your own blog often will lead to ban. First they will stop you from stumbling your site, eventually they will ban the site itself :|

    Wrong.

You can stumble your own blog posts everyday, hell even twice a day and not get banned. I have been using StumbleUpon for about a year now and I have stumbled every single page and post of my blogs. I had a humor blog that i posted to everyday, and I always stumbled each post, everyday. Never got banned, or anything. I continue to do the same thing on my current blogs. Its really a great way to get traffic. Just recently one of my posts became popular and now my site is receiving about 2000 visits a day just from StumbleUpon.

From what I understand you do need to Stumble lots of other stuff as well your own site/blog in order to decrease the chance of being banned.

I think you should certainly stumble your top posts, but mix it in with a lot of other stumbles and DESTUMBLES. Use that thumbs down button every now and again. You can actually find some great stuff with that stumble button once you set up your interests.

When I send out a Stumble I ask others to discover and review it for me. In the beginning I think I added some tags to my own Stumble discovery pages. I quit doing that.

I know someone who stumbled a lot of pages from the same domain in StumbleUpon and got banned. I would say stumble those that is noteworthy. Not all your posts will be like that so only choose which posts to stumble.

I think if you are just stumbling your site it'll send up some flags. I would include other sites because really thats what you are doing during the day. reading other sites, find something interesting, than stumble it.

    Don't stumble your own blog.

Make friends on StumbleUpon and ask other people to stumble your blog!

You could stumble your own blog post just to put it on stumbleupon.
