Well it's great win for India and Dhoni shows that he is best men for Captain in all types of format and make this results possible.
Hope we would reach No.1 place very soon. I am sure we will get points if we won England series by 2-0.
HaHa, People! Dhoni is not a great captain. I am not against him, in fact I am a fan of hard-hitters. But, as much as I hate to say, soon he will be in the shoes of Ganguly and Dravid just before there were dropped or resigned as captains. Most possibly, he will be dropped as captain in around one year. India is one of the most inconsistent teams in cricketing nations. Once India starts losing matches under Dhoni's captaincy, PEOPLE will start talking about dropping him. He won't lost long! BTW, I am glad India gave a lot of time for the Aussies team to think.
yes its great opportunity for Indian cricket team, but the question is how much long they keep this position? well its a big question that how much they will consistent for the coming matches...? hopefully they will do best and beat Australia in this tally...
Well I am talking on the base of 12 months experince where he gives great reults and also lost matches too and I must say he is better captain than Dravid.
Well we still need to wait for some good results and also hoping Aussi lose some series so we can be no.1 team.
What you mean? Successful captains always had achieved their own position in India's remarkable captain's list. Can we forget Kapil or Azar? Can we forget Ganguly? Why do you think, Dhoni can't follow them? Though Both of the above thrown out from captainship for some reasons, we can never neglect that they are some of the best captains in the world. And by your post, you mean there can't be any more successful captains from India (As you have stated India is inconsistent and so, any captain would be thrown out if we loose any match poorly)
One series has ended and all of a sudden there is another one. I dont know how many months would Dhoni last with his triple role of wicket-keeping, batting and captaincy, in all the three forms of the game. For now, his captaincy seems to be doing really good, and looks to be innovative, but the rigors of this over-kill of the cricket would definitely take its toll.
