Who depends TOO much on google ?

It is scary..

i get 500 uniques a day... and 470 avg are from the big G..

if tomorrow they hate me for something and shutme down .. i will definetly dissapear...

kinda sucks..

That's why you need to build links and have good returning visitors

Only about 50% of my traffic is from Google directly. Another 25% from other search engines. And the rest from returning visitors, Digg, etc.

I have a new website (about 2 months old) 90% of the traffic is from Google. If for some reason Google will ban my website, I might as well stop with the website. Scary!!

Because my site is new I don't have many backlinks, I'm working really hard on that, and I'm trying to get the people back again. But I still don't think that will ever be enough.

 

It is good to have that... because almost 80% of Quality organic traffic comes from Google SE.

 

That can and will (eventually) happen. Just be prepared and focus on others SE while you can...

We can not underestimate google due to this threat. I think we should go ethically as long as we can.. when we face this kind of situation let discuss to their forum. But as increase Link back(Not naturally) is i think braking google t&c so make your side clear as big G should not hurt, We have to accept it.

 

Google is friendly and will not hate so fast unless u do some thing worng with them

 

I think you should not complain, but be thankful to G. Consider this - if there was no google you'd have just ~30 uniques per day in the first place Don't think 'what if...' but try to drive more good traffic from other places too

Now a days google is ruling like anything. I am also getting 90% traffic from Google.

 

it might be scary to lost the trust of Google that's why we need to follow their policies and most of all we need to work hard to top the Google SERP for any searches related to our sites.

 

I do. Like 80% of my revenue depends on Google.

 

We don't depend on Google , Google depend on us . If all webmasters put their websites down then it will be a big problem for big Google !

About traffic , I have to say it's good to have traffic from google because most of the people use google & within top search engines google is the one which give you best hits !

Google, Yahoo , MSN are not seo ... almost no content.

Also now take a look at elance.com , rentacoder.com do you see any keywords there? writing keywords like web development,etc...? please run a anchor tracker from their backlinks 95-99% of backlinks to rentacoder, elance, digitalpoint are

for elance.com "elance and elance.com"
for rentacoder.com "rentacoder" ...

do a test... sound strange...

 

softgroups, what are you trying to say? They get their traffic from sources other than SEO.
