Page Rank at Alexa and Other like it

    I have a page rank of 7,205,112 at Alexa

    http://www.alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details/udopage.com

    That OK ..I'm working on my site..

    Is Alexa data reliable.. Are there other sites where I can find my ranking in such detail..

    This information will help me work on my site..

    Its not much reliable; Alexa gives a basic indication on the site traffic and pageviews thats all. I would say don't take it seriously.

    Yeah as webcosmo says, I don't think it's reliable. I would personally get rid of all these "ranks", gauges and similar tools, they only seem to cause problems. True traffic levels are what counts and that is on a need to know basis. You can guess but you can't be that accurate using Alexa or indeed toolbar PageRank, another thing I want scrapped ASAP!

    Compete gives a more accurate estimation on your traffic level should you want a ranking detail. It proves to be more reliable over Alexa.

    Alexa is going to change and change over and over again. I remember when it was fairly simple to gain a VERY good alexa rank.

    Alexa is not all that reliable. The data is only collected from users who have the alexa toolbar installed. Alexa is generally only good for a rough estimate.

    Alexa is not exact but is good as an indication and helps you to improve by making comparisons. themain thing is getting better and moving forward.

    My site is 250,000 ish - that was many years of hard work..

    I will keep with Alexa.

    My site needs much work on it and using Alexa will help me see how popular my site is. I also use the Google Tool bar that has page rank on it. I'm a 2..

    If you are using firefox, there is a very good extension called "SearchStatus".
    By using this extension you could examine a site's Google PageRank, Alexa Ranking and Compete Rank, it also offers a quick jump to the site's status page provided by Google, Alexa and Compete.

    Alexa is reliable but you have to keep promoting your site to get a lower ranking (high ranking on Alexa).
