Which do you guys think is the funniest sitcom or comedy ever? I would have put a poll up but there are too many to list.
Only fools and horses is a whole category for itself!!! Nothing beats it. I prefer Britcoms and used to love Men Behaving Badly. From America, I used to laugh to Seinfeld. It was undoubtedly the most intelligent US sitcom that was broadcast here in Europe at least. More recently, I have found that My Family is really funny (the early seasons especially). The guy that plays the dad does the job perfectly.
I'd have a tough time choosing anything other than Three's Company. In second place, I'd have to go with The Jeffersons! But George is definitely a distant second to Jack Tripper.

Friends has always been a top pick from the nineties. Joey and Monica would have to be my two favorite characters from there.

American comedy is completely different than English and I like both. But as far as Sitcoms (and while Monty Python is THE funniest show ever, it was not a sitcom) my list would be (in no particular order): Fawlty Towers Scrubs All in the Family Friends Cheers Fraiser Barney Miller Will and Grace Ohh...and one of my all time favorites Night Court!
