this days I confuse why my SERP drops drastic.. I even cant find my blog with my name as keyword, just like john chow's case, can anybody help me to figure whats wrong with my domain & SERP on Google?
Don't worry there may be some Google Update going on and it is much common these days, give it a couple of days.
maybe... well its already 4-5 days... I just don't want end like john chow... I already try to remove some links...
if you can't find the site for 5 days guess you might be in trouble. see if your site is indexed at all.
well its still indexed, but for mxyzplk as keyword, its still in 77th.. here is some of the history for the SERP... last week... I still got my blog on first position, and then suddenly it lost of sight... 2-3 days after that, I got my position back... the next day after that, I lost it again... until today...
I don't understand. Link building using signatures placed on forum related to your niche should be a good thing. I believe the fluctuation which you are seeing right now is very common and happens all the time. Meanwhile just add more content with the desired keyword which you are aiming for and see whether you will regain back the position.
It's plausable those links were devalued or it appears you were being unnatural with your link acquisitions. You shouldn't rely on forum signatures for the bulk of your links.
Well I just trying to find out my SERP problem here... Maybe I got overdose in link building on forums...
Forum signature is not harmfull for SE, Amny SEOs depending on it.. and getting benefits too. since some days google is dancing don't worry now getting stable
In answer to your question I don't believe that forum back links would be an issue. I've noticed the SERP's are tweekin' out the past few weeks. My site keeps shifting from the one spot to 4, 5 and 6 on the first page. It's annoying. Look at it as business as usual on your end and Googles. A bunch of my clients on the same day dropped a few hundred spots. They all came back to normal after a week or so. Phew.
My sites done this as well - gone from first page to about 100th, i'm sure its just a short term thing, i'd keep building links as normal and see what happens?
Sorry buddy, Forum links can increase your SERP, don't Kill. I have some practical exp on it and hope so many people can tell the same as me.
