SellingPPP NetAudioAds a Big Scam?

Hey guys, I know PPP was very hot here sometime back in Feb 2008 and they never seemed to launch at all.

Just earlier I logged in to sellingppp.com netaudio ads and checked my stats, they showed 200k ads being played last month and 100k ads played this month yet it was under the non-ads category with $0 earnings. I was like man was that a scam?

Does anyone have any updates on them? Like are they still alive and did anyone get paid by them? Thanks!

They are still alive, but floundering. It's not really a scam, but the company was never well-organized. Sadly, I don't see this taking off. And I had built a huge base of both pageviews and other publishers to help it along. :(

I was always wondering about this. It's a shame because the good concept is there...

You are right - it is a very good concept. I hope someone else does something with it. Maybe that will be me? :)

Hmm so whatever ads we play from them now does not generate revenue at all? Cos it doesn't seem to be generating any revenue for me at all though they showed 200k ads being played.

Oh man, that is really crap! It's like publishing their ads for free, who knows maybe they even earn from it without crediting the earnings to us which would make them liable as scammers. I am gonna remove their codes from all my sites now.

That is true. I am thinking of creating my own PPP network, as I had registered several related domains when I began promoting V2P. Would you be interested in hearing more about it if I decide to move forward?

I had a similar experience, although I was lucky enough to quit "displaying" the ads shortly after I realized the pennies (if not just $0.00) I earned were not on par with what they promised.

I don't think anyone made out well with that program!

Hey Stealthy One, that's great! I am interested. But to do such a program up successfully its gonna take a lot of work and might need a whole team even to reach out to the advertisers, do you have the resources to do that?

I cannot imagina anything remotely as annoying as audio that plays over anything else, without the user being able to stop it. If I get to a page with even a 'autoplay' flash script I make a mental note to NEVER visit that site again.

Maybe they pay, maybe they don't, but if you want to have ZERO repeat visitors it's probably a great idea!

Yeah it's anoying. This must have been a scam cause I just went on their forums and it dissapeared. Registrations are closed and there are no forums. They owe me $30 which I will probably never see.

The idea is not that great as because a lot of people hate sounds on websites.

I think they are dead now...
