    Hi Brainstrust
I have 3 gmail accounts and 3 iGoogle home pages. Each iGoogle page PR varies, sometimes it is PR6, PR 7 or PR8.

One widget is the "Bookmarks" one, and you can put your fav links (your own sites).

Me thinks this is a great and easy PR8 backlink. It also opens up some exchange options - i dont know if there is a limit to the number of links you can have.
Has anyone got any views or knowledge as to whether this is a good linking strategy?

    Is the link do-follow?

    That doesn't work...

The URL of iGoogle is http://www.google.com/ig and THAT page has PR, but that is not YOUR page, it is just the general page of iGoogle.

That page that you see is local to your computer and based on your settings. You don't get any backlink.

i think its the normal google page which has pr, and it loads your data into it... so it wont help with having a link from that page i guess

The greatest linking strategy is to keep on building some back links.
