So I used TNX months back and got some ok results but stopped after worries that google would penalize my site. What's the update? Anyone still going strong with this service?

    Dear,

We have major US and UK companies using TNX. If Google penalizes all site owners that use TNX for their link selling or advertising needs, there will be no more Google.

    You shouldn't have stopped.
I sign up with them, add their code on 1 site of mine and forgot all about it until last week.
I sign in and saw 90,000 points waiting for me..well, pretty much low but still I earn WITHOUT doing anything other than maintaining the traffic of my site. Imagine how much would I earn on my other site with high traffic.

Heh no it is not ethical to boost your serps un-organically, so Google has complete right to penalize such sites , I was using it and G. did penalize me, but TNX does good job if you know to use it, so I did second campaign with another site and it is going good but much slower as to be more "organic/natural" so TNX is live :)

yes they still work. I dont think google will know how to detect it yet.
anyways, I was wondering if they will give more extra point for those old users? (i'm one of them) :)

That's my worry I think it's very obvious by the code inserted.

Well from what I remember it is a generic code for all the links and includes the word TNX, surely its traceable? I mean it can't be hard for google to filter all the sites that use the same sort of code for links.

Google can't pinpoint that it's TNX , but it can
    1. detect spam links
    2. if you select unrelated site categories it can hurt your site
    3. if you choose too many links to add in one period of time eg (suddenly your site has 100 back links appearing per day , this is not normal, and google is good in detecting such nonsense )

so the tools is great but use it with great caution !!

Im dissapointed by the radical drop in points given based on PR. I used to earn over $100 / month now in the last couple months im earning less than 50 a month because you guys give far less points per PR now. Its getting to the point its not even worth using as a publisher because your sacrificing your SERP rankings having these links on your site for a very small payout. Plus the affiliate program never converted despite over 30 referrals, so I stopped promoting the affiliate program.
