Gmail is still in beta, when the hell are they going to drop this beta!? It has been years, and Google has millions of gmail users, usually a beta is for a select few, and lasts a few weeks or months if that. Do they have new email software they are coming out with? Juss curious
where did you see beta word at google search? and i think gmail always in beta is google always add new feature and new function
Mhmm... That way if anything is wrong with GMail, they will just say, its in Beta, but if its final, they have really no excuse, or at least from peoples eyes
I don't know about new signups, but I have a still live blogspot blog that fetches images from a Googlepages account.
Google labels almost every product as beta, so if it gets exploited, they can defend themselves that it was beta. But everyone knows that Google's beta is a final product.
I never notice it but I think that it is alright to stay in beta since it is only free. I would complain if they are charging something for using them.
